Who This Book is For


Ultimately, PTO: Prioritize Time Outdoors is simply a letter to former and present colleagues written by a corporate guy who wishes to help others like him get their deserved and perhaps dormant doses of Vitamin N.

At its core, this book is a book for the rest of us – the non-mountaineer working folks who nonetheless feel a need to get out and experience nature. Perhaps you’re outdoors-curious and just require a bit of a nudge to get out there. Maybe you’re a busy worker, eager to hit the trails but struggling to carve out the time amid other priorities. Maybe it’s just not part of your routine now, even if it might have been when you were younger. Maybe you see the outdoors as the domain of other people and find the whole prospect daunting. Maybe you’re not even sure where to start. And maybe you’re simply facing a roadblock of some sort – a mental or physical challenge keeping you from planning a day or several under the sun.
